With over 25 years of experience spanning consulting, finance, and sales, Michael Bux is a seasoned professional uniquely qualified to support human resources teams across a wide range of industries and company sizes. As Vice President of Human Capital Solutions at Sanguine Strategic Advisors, Michael leads the firm’s advisory services related to insurance and human capital needs. His expertise lies in connecting clients with best-in-class solution providers and analytics that align with their unique challenges and growth objectives. By leveraging data-driven insights, Michael delivers tailored recommendations that enhance the employee experience while driving sound financial decisions and fostering sustainable growth.

Michael has held several leadership roles in prestigious organizations throughout his career. At Korn Ferry, he served as Senior Principal in the Sales Effectiveness & Advisory Practice, where he worked with organizations on workforce transformation and business optimization. Prior to that, he spent several years at Mercer, where he led sales and consulting teams in the Central Market and oversaw a $110 million direct-to-consumer business.

Michael’s introduction to HR transformation began at ADP, where he led a multi-state sales and service organization for their HR outsourcing division. His ability to combine strategic leadership with innovative workforce strategies laid the foundation for his career in human capital solutions. Earlier in his career, Michael held senior roles in finance, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a $30 million mid-market company and as a Commercial Relationship Manager in the financial services industry. These roles provided him with a deep understanding of financial operations, which he continues to integrate into his approach to workforce strategy and HR solutions.

Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed a Master of Accounting at Roosevelt University. Based in Dallas, Michael enjoys spending his free time with his son Jameson, his loving wife Linda, and their dog Monroe.
